E46 Secondary Air Pump

The secondary air pump reduces emissions by mixing fresh air with the air in your cars exhaust system. If yours is damaged, you may notice a check engine light on your dashboard, or may also notice the pump is consistently noisy for 30 seconds to 2 minutes after startup. Replacing this pump often quiets noisy startups, turns off check engine lights caused by certain codes, and keeps your vehicle running perfectly.

We advise also replacing ES26817 together with this part, to avoid premature pump failure.
