Exhaust Temperature Sensor (EGT)

The EGT Sensor is used to monitor the exhaust gas temperature. This helps give the driver an idea of the car’s air-fuel ratio. If your sensor has failed, you will not be aware of there are temperature issues in your engine that could cause catastrophic damage. Typically, you will get a warning light on the dash if this sensor fails.
