Description
The tie rod assemblies are the link between the steering center link and the steering knuckle on your Mercedes-Benz. They utilize ball sockets to articulate to any needed position while driving, but like any component with a ball socket in your steering or suspension system, the tie rod assemblies can wear out, and need to be replaced.
Symptoms that your tie rod assemblies need to be replaced can include clunking noises coming from the front end when you drive over bumps, or an overall loose or wandering feeling while driving.
If your tie rod assemblies are starting to exhibit signs of wear, they must be replaced to keep your vehicle traveling many more miles safely down the road.
If you are replacing your tie rod assemblies, now would be the perfect time to inspect and replace any other steering and suspension components that are starting to show signs of wear. Euromotiv carries a full line of steering and suspension components for your Mercedes-Benz to help you keep it driving as well as it did when it was new.
