Steering Drag Link Assembly

The drag link assembly is the link between the steering steering gear and the steering intermediate arm on your Mercedes-Benz. It utilizes ball sockets on each end to articulate to any needed position while driving, but like any component with a ball socket in your steering or suspension system, the drag link assembly can wear out, and need to be replaced.

Symptoms that your drag link assembly needs to be replaced can include clunking noises coming from the front end when you drive over bumps, or an overall loose or wandering feeling while driving.

If your drag link assembly is starting to exhibit signs of wear, it must be replaced to keep your vehicle traveling down the road safely.
