This is a workshop tool for checking the transmission oil level in your Mercedes-Benz with 722.6xx automatic transmission during fluid service.
The Mercedes 722.6 Automatic Transmission was initially engineered as a sealed for life transmission. A tamper proof dipstick seal cover and locking pin was installed in place of a traditional dipstick. In order to fill the transmission or verify fluid level the locking pin must be removed along with the fill cover and should be replaced
