An electronically controlled diverter valve that mounts directly to the compressor housing.
This valve, positioned between the compressor housing and the turbocharger inlet, allows the system to bypass pressurized air when the throttle plate closes. This factory unit is a "plumb-back" design, which sends the pressurized air back into the inlet for silent operation. It is designed to prevent compressor surge, a condition that can be detrimental to the health of your turbocharger.
