Description
Because of the oval design of the intake tube on the F10, a custom air filter had to be designed for this intake system. The air filter is specially designed to seal against the carbon fiber airbox, eliminating any opening for hot air to enter the airbox! Turner created conical hi-flow reusable air filters; featuring 8 ply oiled cotton gauze construction to maximize filtration efficiency. This filter features a Bellmouth (velocity stack) filter flange inlet to reduce turbulence in order to maximize flow.
Overall, the less restrictive intake design allows for more flow to the engine. The stock intake flow 326.2 CFM @ -15 inH20. Turner intakes flow 396.6 CFM @ -15 inH20. Turner F10 535i Full Intake shows an improvement of 22% more airflow to the engine! A serious improvement! This equates to even more air being moved through this intake, directly to the engine.
