Description
If you have started to notice a clunking sound when going over bumps, or an overall loose feeling in the front suspension of your car, you may have a ball joint that is in need of replacement.
The front upper ball joints on your Mercedes-Benz however, are not replaceable as an individual part. The entire control arm must be replaced in order to replace the upper ball joint.
This is not necessarily a bad thing though, as replacing the control arm assembly not only serves to replace the ball joint, but also the control arm bushings as well. This is sure to bring back some of the driving characteristics that you love about your Mercedes-Benz.
If you are replacing one upper control arm assembly, it is recommended that the opposite side also be replaced at the same time for the best possible results.
