Description
A camshaft position sensor is used to determine the engine's position in the timing cycle. The information is used to provide individual cylinder ignition and injection controls so that the valves are opening and closing as they should be. When this sensor goes bad, the timing can advance and you could be looking at a costly repair. This sensor is located in the cylinder head.
* This part is designed for the FSI engine only. This can easily be found on the engine cover of your 2.0T VW/Audi. It will clearly be stamped FSI (not TFSI).
