Description
Brake pad wear sensors are a part that is used on almost every Mercedes-Benz model, yet they are often overlooked during brake service.
The break pad wear sensor works by making contact with the brake rotors once the brake pads have reached a minimum thickness. However, in contacting the rotor, the break pad wear sensor is destroyed, so a new replacement must be purchased when replacing the brake pads.
