Description
The Water Pump Pulley is a pulley that attaches to the water pump that drives it via the serpentine belt. If it gets damaged, your water pump will be inactive and there is a chance that the other items controlled by this belt will be as well. This pulley is a common failing item due to it being made from plastic. If you’re replacing the water pump on your BMW it is always suggested to replace the water pump pulley also.
NOTE: If replacement of the pulley retention bolts is necessary, they can be found by search for ES14582.
