Install new hardware with your new parts. This wrist pin lock ring is used to contain the wrist pin, used to attach the connecting rod, within the piston. There is one lock ring installed on each side of the wrist pin.

* This part is designed for the TSI engine only. This can easily be found on the engine cover of your 2.0T VW/Audi. It will clearly be stamped TSI or TFSI.
