This electric water pump keeps the coolant flowing in the supercharger cooling system. If it begins to fail, the supercharger compressor cannot be cooled properly and overheating problems are inevitable. Don't take a chance on doing damage to the compressor by not replacing your water pump. If your pump stops working, coolant temperatures can rise rapidly and overheat the supercharger compressor, leading to gasket or hose failure.
