Description

Welcome to the TTE740 Stage 3 Turbocharger upgrade for the PORSCHE 992 3.0 Twin turbo

To construct a pair of TTE740 turbos they remove the original compressors carefully select larger and more efficient fast-response billet compressor wheels and mill the compressor cover to the optimum gap to match the new compressor profile . They've also fitted larger 9 blade turbines in the exhaust housings for greater flow and lower exhaust gas temperatures at higher boost values and use a TTE Motorsport upgrade bearing pack for durability. This combination gives extra power but yet gives also near near-stock response.

Equilibrium

Precisely balancing the turbochargers is a critical factor in becoming a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance also improves acoustics. Subsequently, great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieve their balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using the single parts machine. Components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using their in-house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test result document.
