Welcome to the TTE1000+ VTG Stage 3 Turbocharger upgrade for the PORSCHE 992 TURBO S.
To construct a pair of TTE1000+ VTG turbos they removed the original compressors and employed a larger and more efficient billet compressor wheel proven at 580hp each and mill the compressor cover to the optimum gap to match the new compressor profile. They've also fitted large TTE 9-blade Low-Mass turbines in the turbine exhaust housings for greater flow and lower exhaust gas temperatures at high boost and fitted the TTE Motorsport upgrade bearing pack for durability. This combination gives great power potential but also a super fast boost response near the same as stock, yet big gains in power for the ultimate hybrid turbocharger upgrade.
Equilibrium
Precisely balancing the turbochargers is a critical factor in becoming a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance also improves acoustics. Subsequently, great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieve their balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using the single parts machine. Components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using their in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test result document.
