Description
The impact/crash sensors, or the sensor for lateral impact acceleration, is used by the airbag control module to determine if the airbags and seat belt tensioners are to be activated in the even of an accident. If faulty, you will receive a fault code and an illuminated airbag light, which disables the airbag system completely. Replace your faulty crash sensors and keep your airbag system operating properly.
